Frequently asked Questions…

 

What materials do you use?
We use a range of vegetable tanned cowhide, sourced from Italy.
In addition, we use kangaroo sourced from Australia, and goat sourced from France.
Our products are mostly lined with sueded pig-skin, sourced from Australia.
Our fittings are sourced from Italy and Japan. We strive to choose the highest quality, to ensure our products are durable and long-lasting.

Do you do repairs on other brand’s products?
No. We suggest visiting Ideal Shoe Repairs, Hutt Street.
For any repairs or queries regarding leather clothing, we suggest visiting 5 Star Alterations (also located in Regent Arcade).

Do you offer embossing?
Yes, we can emboss any Leatherworks Adelaide product with initials or names. We offer two sizes of lettering.
Embossing incurs an extra cost of $15 per ‘set up’.
Once set up, we can emboss m0re than one product with the same set up name/initials.
Please note: we DO NOT emboss on products we do not make, as we cannot guarantee quality embossing on unknown leathers.

What if my Leatherworks product gets damaged?
Leather is a durable material, but some wear may occur after extended use. Our products are made to a high-quality standard, with great attention to detail.
We offer a 12 month warranty for any material or workmanship issues.
If you have an issue with your product after this period, of course, bring it in and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Do you make custom pieces?
Yes, we do! If you’re after a custom piece and live locally, it is always best to pop into our store to have a chat, see our leathers and discuss your idea in more detail.

Do you offer Afterpay?
No.

Do you sell leather/scraps?
No, we don’t. Part of our mission is to utilise materials fully, ensuring minimal wastage. This means we use every last bit of our hides, and are not able to sell off scraps.

Am I able to purchase online?
We currently do not have an online store.
If you see something you like on our Gallery or Instagram pages and are unable to visit our store, email us or contact us via our ‘enquiries’ page, and we can organise the purchase.
